Meet Miss Cate - Cate Phillips DeFiore
Cate and her husband Mike moved back home to Huntsville after graduating from college. They have been married 14 years and are grateful be able to raise their daughters in their hometown. Eliza, 7 is in first grade at Blossomwood Elementary School and Ellie, 11, is in sixth grade at Blossomwood.
Cate, better known as Miss Cate to her class, teaches Pre-K at First Friends Preschool and loves every minute of it. Cate is also an active volunteer in the community. She is a past President of the Blossomwood PTA, and a member of the Gothic Guild and the Symphony Guild.
Meet Miss Susie - Susie Swanson Fortner
Susie moved back to her hometown of Huntsville 11 years ago after a career overseas. She and her husband, Mark, met in 4th grade at Randolph, were reaquainted, fell in love and got married. They have 2 children. Freddie, 6, is in kindergarten at Holy Spirit and Frances, 3, enjoys preschool at First Friends.
Susie first began teaching etiquette classes through the Gothic Guild 11 years ago and has presented etiquette seminars to many local groups including Leadership Huntsville, Rotaract, and Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Debutantes. Susie is active in the Symphony Guild, Gothic Guild, and the Church of the Nativity, Episcopal.
